Santa and Mrs. Claus: The Story of Derick & Candace Fedders

Derick and Candace Fedders have embodied the spirit of Santa and Mrs. Claus together since the early 2000s—not merely as seasonal icons, but as compassionate emissaries of joy, healing, and connection across both the physical and spiritual realms. Their journey began in Greenville, New Hampshire, where a shared passion for spreading Christmas cheer sparked a love story rooted in tradition and purpose. In 2007, they returned to the town where it all began to marry, officially becoming Santa and Mrs. Claus in both name and heart.

Derick is a third-generation Santa, proudly following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, both of whom dedicated their lives to bringing the magic of Christmas to children and families. Candace, a second-generation Mrs. Claus, inherited her mother’s deep love for the holiday season and her commitment to helping others, even though her mother never donned the iconic red dress.

Together, they’ve transformed their roles into a year-round mission of service—bringing joy to individuals facing life’s greatest challenges, including autism, cerebral palsy, cancer, and other conditions.

As one of several representatives for New Hampshire’s Toys for Tots program, they work closely with the U.S. Marine Corps to deliver hope and happiness to families in need. Their outreach spans schools, churches, fire departments, and community centers, but their impact extends far beyond festive appearances.

Derick and Candace are not only seasonal figures—they are seasoned paranormal investigators with a unique approach that blends intuitive sensitivity and technical precision. Mrs. Claus (Candace) brings finely tuned intuitive abilities, often connecting with spirits through clairaudience, others “Clairs”, empathic resonance and Spiritual tools. Santa (Derick) complements her gifts with a robust array of investigative tools, including EMF detectors, spirit boxes, and audio analysis equipment.

Their collaborative method has yielded compelling results. During investigations, child spirits and other entities have responded to the comforting presence of Santa Claus, with messages such as “Toys,” “Gifts,” and “Santa” emerging through spirit communication devices—suggesting that the magic of Christmas transcends the veil between worlds.

Whether conducting private home investigations or collaborating with fellow professionals, Derick and Candace bring warmth, integrity, and a deep respect for the unseen. Their work is not only evidential—it’s healing.

Over the years, the Fedders have worked alongside many respected figures in the paranormal field, including:

Derick and Candace Fedders exemplify the timeless power of belief—not just in holiday magic, but in the enduring connection between the living and the spirit world. Their dual roles as Santa and Mrs. Claus serve as a bridge between joy and mystery, comfort and discovery.

Whether engaging with children, supporting families in crisis, or communicating with spirits, they continue to share the wonder of the season—and the profound truth that no one is ever too old to believe.

After all, is anyone ever too old to believe? Past or present, young or old—Santa is here for all.
